What is a Live Certificate of Insurance?
The Certificate of Insurance is a document that shows proof you have a Business Insurance Policy. Most of these documents come from a company called Acord. In times past, this document was a hassle to retrieve but because of today's technology we are now able to provide access to it immediately.
Additional Insured
An Additional Insured can be added to the Certificate of Insurance to show that the additional party could place a claim on the insureds policy if needed. Some landlords clients or businesses that employ you or your company may require this.

How do I add an additional insured?
To add to the live certificate, you will need to provide the details of the additional insured within the quote or your customer portal, if not done at purchase. You will then be able to enter their email and send a copy directly to them.
Will I still get a copy of my Acord Certificate?
Yes. You can print a pdf version of your Accord certificate when logged into your customer portal. From within the customer portal, select View Details then view ACORD Certificate.
How does the Live COI Work?
You will be able to instantly share a copy of your live certificate of insurance (COI) with whoever you need to by providing their email or creating a link that will take them directly to it.
How much does a live Certificate cost?
It's Free for all customers and you have the unlimited ability to share and send as many times as needed.
What information is on my COI?
The Certificate of insurance includes pertinent information regarding your coverage such as contact information, type of policy, limits, and deductibles.
